Never Good Enough? Breaking Free from Perfectionism, Pressure, and Burnout
About this Event
It’s Time to Turn Your Light Back On
Never Good Enough? Breaking Free from Perfectionism, Pressure, and Burnout is an interactive half-day workshop designed to help you understand what’s driving your burnout, and give you practical tools to begin changing it.
Led by burnout strategist and speaker Michelle Von Ruden, you'll work through Michelle's six-pillar burnout strategy and examine the patterns, beliefs, and behaviors that may be keeping you stuck in a cycle of striving.
This isn't four hours of sitting and listening.
You'll reflect. You'll write. You'll have conversations. You'll challenge some of the expectations you've been carrying.
Most importantly, you'll leave with a personal action plan for what comes next.
Before You Arrive
Your experience begins before the workshop.
After registering, you'll be invited to complete Michelle's From Exhausted to Energized Burnout Quiz.
Bring your results with you. We'll use them as a starting point to go beyond how burned out am I? and begin exploring a much more important question:
Why did I get here, and what needs to change?
The Six Pillars
Throughout the morning, we'll work through six areas that can help you understand your relationship with achievement, pressure, and burnout:
Identity
Who are you when you aren't producing, achieving, helping, or proving?
Perfectionism
When does the pursuit of excellence cross the line into an exhausting need to get everything right?
Burnout Recovery
Learn to recognize what is draining you and identify what you need to begin turning your light back on.
Redefining Success
Examine the definition of success you've been chasing, and decide whether it still deserves to define your life.
Authentic Alignment & Permission
Identify where your priorities, values, boundaries, and everyday life have fallen out of alignment.
Behavioral Shifts
Turn awareness into action by identifying the behaviors and patterns you are ready to change.
You'll Leave With
By noon, you won't simply have pages of notes.
You'll leave with greater clarity around what's contributing to your burnout, practical tools you can use in everyday life, a workbook you can continue working through after the event, and your own Turn Your Light Back On Action Plan.
You'll identify what needs to stop, what needs to start, and the first steps you can take to create meaningful change.
Because progress doesn't require perfection.
One step at a time is still forward.

Achieving the goal only to immediately move the finish line.
Looking successful on the outside while feeling exhausted on the inside.
