Honoring the Heroes of 9/11: Memorial Day 2026 5K Run/Walk
As we approach the end of another year and look ahead to January 2026, we prepare to close one chapter and begin another. My enduring passion is to honor the heroes of our country, ensuring their sacrifices are never forgotten. The coming year marks a significant milestone: the 25th Remembrance Anniversary of September 11, 2001.
Reflecting on 25 Years Since 9/11
It has been 25 years since the day that forever changed our nation—a day that most Americans, myself included, could never have imagined. On September 11, 2001, four planes were hijacked and crashed into the Twin Towers, the Pentagon, and a field in Shanksville, Somerset County, Pennsylvania. We lost 2,977 lives in what remains the most horrific attack on U.S. soil.
Join Us to Honor the Heroes
I invite you to join me in honoring the heroes of 9/11 this Memorial Day weekend, May 23, 2026, at a special 5K Run/Walk hosted at Wilson Creek Winery in Temecula, CA. Together, we will remember and pay tribute to the firefighters, law enforcement officers, and military personnel who lost their lives on that tragic day.
How You Can Participate
As a participant and sponsor of the event, you will have the meaningful opportunity to select a 9/11 hero and fundraise in their memory. Funds raised will be used to present surviving children of these heroes with heartfelt gifts, helping to keep their loved ones' memories alive and reminding them that, here in California, we have not forgotten their sacrifice.

If a particular hero resonates with you, save their name and include it in your registration. Then, proceed to "FUNDRAISER" and click "SIGN UP NOW" to begin your fundraising journey.
