✨ About This Event
A calming, nature-based community morning for neurodivergent adults and parents of neurodiverse children who appreciate gentle company, shared lived experiences, and simple neuro-nurturing tools for everyday life.
Each month, we gather at the beautiful Rye Harbour Discovery Centre, combining quiet conversation, supportive connection, and a refreshing wellness walk along one of Sussex’s most unique coastal habitats.

Sussex Wildlife Trust – Discovery Centre, Rye Harbour Nature Reserve (Rye Harbour Road, Rye, TN31 7TT)

Upon entering the building, turn left behind the shop area to find our dedicated meeting space.
If you are joining for the first time, you are warmly encouraged to ask at the reception — the team will guide you to us with pleasure.
☕ 10:30 – 11:30 Coffee & Chat (Indoors)
Tea, coffee, and refreshments are not provided, but you are warmly invited to purchase any drink or treat of your choice from the centre’s café and bring it with you to the meeting space.
The menu offers coffee, tea, snacks, pastries, and light refreshments.
This first hour offers a welcoming moment to connect, breathe, and share in a gentle, non-judgemental space.
🚶‍♀️ 11:30 – 12:30 NeuroWalk & Talk (Outdoors)
A wellness walk around the nature reserve.
Sussex Wildlife Trust kindly offers binoculars to borrow, so we can explore the birds and and coastal environment together.

🌿 Walking Pace
Everyone is welcome to walk at their own pace.
One facilitator walks ahead with those who prefer a quicker pace, and another stays with those who enjoy a slower rhythm.
We stay connected as one group while honouring individual needs and comfort.
👨‍👩‍👧 Children Welcome When Needed
Although the event is designed as a restorative adult space, parents are welcome to attend with their children when this is the most practical or nurturing option for the family (including during school holidays or home education).
💚 Free Community Event
This is a free offering.
You may choose to purchase your own refreshments, and donations to Sussex Wildlife Trust are warmly welcomed.
