Join us for a relaxed celebration! This isn't a traditional prom...

What should my teen expect?

There will likely be a maximum of 25 young people with their parents / carers. Each young person is welcome to bring up to two adults with them.

The event is very low key...the teens can either sit with their parents or with the rest of the group. Anyone who attends and has joined one of our regular meet ups, will be made to feel welcome and part of the group from the start (let us know on the booking form if your teen has any specific needs or support we can help with).

We play music (but not too loud), there's party games, a chance to have photos taken if you want to, the light is low level, and nothing is forced.

There will be a number of quiet spaces where your young person can find a bit of peace and quiet if the main room is too much at any point.

Where is it held?

We use a dance studio within the Morley Live building. You can find a short film about the entrance to the building, spaces etc here:

What should my teen wear?

Young people are invited to wear whatever brings them joy...last year that included tracksuits, jeans and t-shirts, summer dresses, skirts and tops, and full prom dresses and outfits. It's whatever works for your teen!

What should I wear?

Likewise, it's totally up to you! Parents also wore a range of different types of clothing depending on what suited them. It's a no judgement space, so wear what you feel works on the day and you'll fit right in!

And what will the food be like?

To accomodate different food choices, we're ordering individual pizzas. Make sure you clearly state on your booking form what your teen would like. For parents there will be a simple buffet.

What if we need to leave early?

That's absolutely fine. Whatever works for your teen :-)

How much does it cost?
We were fortunate to gain some funding from Asda and that has allowed us to keep the teen tickets at a minimum cost, and ensure parent / carers can attend for free. However, if this is still prohibitive, we don't want cost to prevent anyone from attending so please do drop us a line [email protected] and we'll do our best to help.
