About this Event

Key topics covered are:

  • What neurodiversity is and why it matters in the workplace.
  • Common neurodivergent conditions, including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, and more.
  • Dispelling myths and addressing unconscious biases.
  • The benefits of an inclusive workplace for employees and businesses alike.
  • Simple adjustments and best practices to support neurodivergent colleagues effectively

Our training is based on current industry best practices and lived experience. In 2024 Response won the Inclusive Employer award at the Genuis Within Celebrating Neurodiversity Awards.

The training is delivered by Gemma Jewell (Associate Director of People and Business Services) and Jamie Douglas (Associate Director of Youth Services) from Response. The training is based on working within the health and care sector and supporting colleagues, as well as lived experience.

Please note: Places will be prioritised for VCSE organisations that directly or indirectly support people with their mental health.
