Think of it like speed dating—but for friendship! You'll have a series of short, low-pressure conversations in a calm, sensory-considerate environment with others who understand and appreciate neurodivergence.

This event is specifically designed for neurodivergent adults (18+) looking to make new friends, whether you’re autistic, ADHD, dyslexic, or identify with another neurodivergent experience. All are welcome!

1. Pairing Up
   Everyone will be paired with one person at a time. Don’t worry—we’ll guide the transitions and help you get settled.
2. 6-Minute Chats
   Each pair will have 6 minutes to chat. You can use conversation prompts (we’ll provide them!) or just talk freely. There’s no pressure to “click” — this is just a chance to meet new people.
3. Gentle Timer
   A gentle sound will signal when time is up. You’ll then rotate to the next person.
4. Breaks are Okay
   Need a moment to decompress? No problem. There’s a chill zone where you can take a break at any time.
5. Wrap-Up & Opt-In Connection
   After several rounds, we’ll give everyone the option to write down the names of people they’d like to connect with again. We’ll help share info only with mutual matches—only if both people want to.

Info: Be sure to arrive between 5:30PM - 5:45PM to check in and get your nametag before speed friending begins. Speed friending will begin promptly at 6.

Info: Speed friending consists of talking with 10 different individuals in one evening. Each conversation is 6 minutes long, just long enough for you to make a connection. Individuals will rotate tables each time the bell rings, you'll have a 15 seconds to wrap up your conversations and move to the next table.
