Neurodivergent Board Game Speed Dating, Ages 20-40

Searching for a partner can be horrifically painful. But board games are always awesome. So what if you combined board games and finding a partner?

On January 14, join Quirk events and Connecting Us for an exciting night of board games and conversation with fun single people.

What the night will look like...

Sarah and Tandis from Connecting Us will give a brief presentation on tips for connecting, then we'll hop into games. Over the course of the night, you'll play classics you love and discover brand new ones you've never heard of, playing each with a different group of fun singles. At the end of the night, you give your gaming concierge a list of the folks you met that you'd like to date and a list of those you met that you'd like to just hang out with as friends. If any two people put down the same name as each other in either column, then your gaming concierge will make sure you get each other's e-mail address and you can coordinate a time to hang out.

So come join us and see if you can line up a date, make some friends and play some games.

Before you decide to buy tickets, a few basics we should cover:

1) This event is hosted by Quirk Events (an organization dedicated to building events around games) in partnership with Connecting Us (an organization dedicated to helping young adults form meaningful relationships and connection). It is specifically built as an event for neurodivergent participants and will be preceded by a brief presentation to help attendees navigate the tricky dynamics of meeting a potential partner.

2) Knight Moves serves yummy sweets you'll be able to order when you arrive. You are also welcome to bring your own alcohol for a $5 fee.

3) Refunds are only available to those who cancel with more than 48 hours' notice, in order to make sure we have enough time to find a replacement for you and keep the event well-populated.
