About this Event
Violinist Jacqueline Rodenbeck will be the sixth annual recipient of the National Arts Club’s Herman and Mary Neuman Music Award. Jacqueline is a 17-year-old violinist from Tucson, AZ. She has placed in national and international competitions including the 28th Annual Sphinx Competition, Oracle Chamber Music Competition, the Bach International Music Competition, the Moscow Music Competition and the Clara Schumann Competition chamber division. Additionally, she has been featured as soloist with a variety of orchestras including the Sphinx Symphony Orchestra and the Tucson Philharmonic Youth Orchestra. She has been featured on NPR’s acclaimed program From the Top. Renowned WQXR host Elliott Forrest will host the concert and award ceremony.
This special event is being done in collaboration with the Sphinx Organization and WQXR. Seating is limited. RSVP required.
