Our next Networking With is happening on April 29th from 6 to 8 PM at the Centre (174 Douglas, Suite 201). 📣 Join SWC and Christina Raso to learn about the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) and the pathways to obtaining one. Christina Raso is the Principal of St. Albert Learning Centre, an alternative and adult education school dedicated to helping students complete their Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), upgrade skills, and access new career opportunities. She has over 25 years of experience in education, with a background in special education and student success. Christina also serves on the Board of Directors for CESBA (the Ontario Association of Adult and Continuing Education School Board Administrators), a provincial organization that supports and advocates for adult and continuing education programs across Ontario.
Attendees will learn how earning an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) can open doors to employment, training, and post-secondary opportunities and how not having it can sometimes create barriers. The presentation will highlight how St. Albert Learning Centre supports adults (18 years +) in removing those barriers through free programs, flexible pathways to graduation, and academic upgrading. Students can complete their OSSD in less than six months, proving that graduation may be closer than they think, and St. Albert Learning Centre is here to help make that goal achievable.
