Networking Event with Students from Gaza - 13 April

Comhlámh is pleased to invite you or a representative(s) from your organisation to a very special networking event with students from Gaza who are currently studying at Irish Universities. The event will take place on Monday, 13th April, between 17:30 - 19:30 in and is being organised in collaboration with the Higher Education Institutions (HEI) sectoral group working to support students from Gaza.

The main objectives for this networking event are as follows:

• Facilitate networking and career exploration

To create a space for students and graduates from Gaza to connect with representatives from Irish NGOs and organisations working in the international development, humanitarian, community, and voluntary sectors, and to learn about employment, volunteering, internship, and other short-term opportunities that may support their career development.

• Strengthen professional connections and solidarity networks

To connect students and graduates from Gaza with organisations working on Palestinian solidarity, advocacy, and social justice initiatives.

• Foster community and inclusion

To support relationship-building, community, and a sense of belonging among Gaza students and graduates and professionals working across these sectors in Ireland.

We hope to welcome a range of Comhlámh members, volunteering sending organisations, and others working in the NGO sector for what promises to be a meaningful and engaging event.
