Networking Event for Artists and Organizations

This is a space for all newcomer, immigrant, refugee, and emerging artists to learn about existing services and opportunities from Toronto organizations, as well as a great chance to network and connect with other artists.

Remember, if you identify as an immigrant, newcomer or refugee artist, your participation at HAPPENING Multicultural events make you elegible to win an all-paid trip to our upcoming international Community Arts Residence and Cultural Exchange.

🔸 Must be a newcomer artist interested in community arts

🔸 Must have the ability to leave and enter the country.

🔸 You must attend the Networking Event for Artists and Organizations AND three (3) regular events during HAPPENING.

🔸 You must be present at the time of the raffle

🔸 The raffle will take place during Music Night on May 31, 2025 and the artist needs to be present.

HAPPENING Multicultural Festival is the first and only Toronto festival created by community artists, giving center stage to the talent and skills of immigrant, newcomer, and refugee artists. This multi-arts platform includes music, dance, visual arts, community-engaged arts, storytelling, spoken word, and poetry. HAPPENING gives space to embrace the cultural richness of our city while creating professional development opportunities for artists, as well as offering a platform for organizations to connect, and form meaningful collaborations.
