Military Appreciation Luncheon — Lenore Auger, US Air ForceBe sure to join Us Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at 11:30 am for our monthly luncheon Program at Langley's Restaurant at Great Neck Country Club, $25 for member pre-registrations, $30 for non-member pre-registrations, and $35 for late registrations and walk-ins includes gratuity and tax. Lenore Auger served in the United States Air Force from 1986 to 2000.
Her duty stations were: Pease AFB Portsmouth, NH Supply Squadron 1986 to 1990 (closed the base), Afcent Brunsum City the Netherlands Nato headquarters Central Europe 1990 to 1995, Cannon AFB 1995 to 1997, Supply Squadron Riverhead Long Island, NY 1997 to 1998, and Recruiting Hanscom AFB Bedford, MA 1998 to 2000.
Lenore will focus her talk on the challenges for women in the military and the advancements for women over the last 40 years.
Lenore is the owner of Seaside Spa in New London, CT. Her journey into the spa profession started in 1998. She worked in the Boston area as an esthetician for a number of years until she opened her first spa in CT during the summer of 2002. She has been in business for over twenty years owning spas in the eastern part of Connecticut, then expanding to the seacoast area.
