Netsmartz - Internet Safety for Kids

The Georgetown Project & Williamson County Children's Advocacy Center presents:

Kids are on the internet now more than ever, so let's make sure they know how to be safer online!

This presentation from Williamson County Children's Advocacy Center teaches children how to identify situations online that may be unsafe or confusing to them or others. It will cover:

• keeping personal information private
• establishing healthy boundaries online
• telling a trusted adult
• it is NEVER the child's fault

Parents are invited to stay for Internet Safety for Parents/Caregivers -- a presentation that helps parents and caregivers understand the dynamics of online safety. Learn about cyberbullying, sexting and exposure to adult content, considerations for establishing household values and norms surrounding digital safety, and identifying additional support resources.
