This is not a stand up show. Instead, tonight we kick back, eat popcorn and celebrate stand ups who have the fortitude to produce film projects for the big screen! For this Netflix Is a Joke edition of Stand Up Cinema, comedian-filmmaker Sam Rubinoff will curate a new collection of short films made by local LA comics and visiting festival performers. This is a unique opportunity to see your favorite comedians’ recent filmmaking endeavors with a live audience. Stand Up Cinema first premiered to a sold out crowd at the 2023 New York Comedy Festival.
