Nestor Gomez: A Night of Storytelling
Advertisement
Join acclaimed Chicago-based storyteller NESTOR GOMEZ for an evening of heartfelt stories inspired by his latest book, Rescued Me, a moving collection of lessons about love, healing, and the wisdom we learn from our pets.
Along the way, you'll hear reflections on finding (and making) home as an immigrant, and perhaps even a few odes to the magic of autumn.
Come hungry for stories -- and a little food! Bring a dish if you'd like to enjoy potluck appetizers from 6:30 - 7:00 PM, followed by an evening of storytelling and community. Hosted by local storyteller Tony Toledo and NSUU Church.
Tickets: $20 suggested, all proceeds go to artist.
