A great day out to the picturesque Market Town of Helmsley in North Yorkshire.The Pre-Season Multi-Meet starts at 12 and is a great opportunity to meet old friends and make new friends before the Nationals begin and admire everyone’s scooters.
Plenty of refreshment establishments around the Market Place and Public Toilets.
For Newcastle, North Tyneside, Gateshead & Washington area clubs & riders...
The run will start at 0830 at the Benton Ale House, Four Lane Ends and then go to the Coach & Horses Pub on the A167 in Birtley, not far from the Angel of the North for 0900.
For Chester-le-Street, Durham City riders - feel free to wait wherever on route and tag on as we ride past on the A167 Southbound.
We will follow the A167 down through Chester-le-Street past Durham City to the Burger King Drive through just off the Thinford roundabout at Spennymoor. Should be there around 0930.
Ideal for Spennymoor, Chilton, Shildon, Newton Aycliffe clubs & riders.
We will then ride along the A177 across to Wolviston Services on the A19 for about 1030 - have a break and leave around 1100.
Clubs & Riders from Sunderland, Peterlee, Hartlepool may find this Pick-Up a better to meet us if coming straight down the A19.
After that we will cut off the A19 through Middlesborough to Coulby Newham and onto Stokesley.
The ride after that up onto the North York Moors is fantastic brining us to Helmsley for around 1130.
A brilliant ride and event, well worth getting out for this. Everyone is free to ride home when they want or leave when we do around 3pm back along the same route.
