Nervous System Reset - Yin Yoga, Pranayama & Yoga Nidra Workshop taught by Kristina Babette Larsen.It is essential to teach our nervous system to release tension, stress, fear and anxiety and to take in energy and vitality. This workshop will empower you to reset and face any challenges life might throw your way.
In the yin practice we hold asana positions for longer than in other yoga practices. This is to stretch deeper into our connective tissue which has a unique calming effect on our nervous system.
Through guided breathing techniques, pranayama, we can shift our level of energy and transcend any negative emotions. You will be taught techniques that have calming as well as energising effects.
Yoga Nidra is a guided relaxation practice that settles the practitioner into the ultimate state of ease and stillness. Known to heal trauma, stress and anxiety the practice of Yoga Nidra is highly relevant when focus is the stabilisation of the nervous system.
