Learning hits different with a drink in your hand and smart people around you. Nerd Nite is a worldwide phenomenon, popping up in over a hundred cities, including right here in St. Pete.
Each month, three passionate presenters take the stage for fascinating and fun 20-minute talks on things they truly geek out about. You will get to sip cocktails, eat from local vendors, mingle, laugh, and follow curiosity wherever it wanders.
Think of it as a lecture series that ditched the podium and grabbed a beer instead.
Drink. Learn. Connect. Come for the fun facts, stay for the conversations, and leave knowing something you didn’t when you walked in.
Doors open at 6pm. Presentations begin promptly at 7pm.
Tickets are $6.91. All tickets will be sold online.
No need to print tickets: Give us your name and we will check you in.

Lani Gonzales
What No One Ever Taught Women About Power
Women were never powerless. They were simply disconnected from the forms of power men didn’t know how to measure. Modern society defines power through productivity, competition, hierarchy, and domination—systems built by men and optimized for male biology. And they work. Unless you’re a woman.
This talk explores the uncomfortable possibility that women were never meant to succeed by mimicking male models of power—and what science reveals about the forms of influence and perception women possess that modern culture quietly trains them to ignore.

Lani Gonzales is a clinical hypnotherapist, author, and recovering attorney. She’s traveled solo to over 40 countries learning from gurus, shamans, and everyone in between. When she’s not teaching women mastery and leadership, she scuba dives, snowboards, and practices mounted archery. She is also actively searching for the female equivalent of “big dick energy,” so if you have ideas, please see her after the talk.

Adam Ryan
The Spice Rack Playbook: Reclaiming Sports, Healing Trauma, and Kicking Balls
Is it possible to heal decades of sports-induced anxiety with a single runway strut to home plate? We are diving into the sociology of the dugout to explore how the Saint Pete LGBTQIA+ kickball scene is dismantling the toxic “win at all costs” culture of our youth. From the psychology of crop top allyship to the logistics of leading a team that celebrates losing by ten points, this session breaks down how to build an environment that prioritizes neurodiversity and HotMess energy over the scoreboard. Come learn why making mistakes is the most important play in the game of life.

Adam Ryan is a neurospicy songwriter, artist, and storyteller who survived a childhood as a farm town cheerleader and a decade in a pray away the gay mega church and went on to reclaim his voice through poetry, crop tops, and the radical joy of adult kickball. Today, he is the proud captain of Spice Rack, the most spirited LGBTQIA+ team in Saint Pete, where he proves every weekend that you don’t have to be good at the game to be “safe at home”. When he’s not championing the trans community, you can find him rollerblading along the pier.
