Nerd Nite HVA Edition
Nerd Nite is an international phenomena where people who have a particular expertise or passion for something offer a fun and entertaining presentation in a relaxed social setting.
It is educational but not a lecture. It is a laid-back and conversational. It is a spot for intellectually curious people who love learning about random interesting things.
July 18 NERD NITE TOPICS (possibly not in this order of presentation):
🧠 “Diamonds Were Not This Girl's Best Friend: Marie Antoinette and the Affair of the Diamond Necklace” by Sarah Baker McEvilly (Rescheduled from May!)
🧠"The Warpath: How a Particular Type of Limestone Turned into a Shawnee Trail...That Turned into I-81" by Aaron Cross
🧠 "There Are No Do-Overs. A [Mostly] Lighthearted Look at Mortality" by Peggy Wilcox
🧠 "How Often Should You Clean Your Room?” by Ravi Shankar
