Nerd Academy is bringing the laughs to Odessa with Irma Ruiz’s Teachers Gone Bad, a comedy fundraiser built for adults who know school stories are sometimes funnier after hours.
Join us for a night of comedy, community, and a good cause as Irma Ruiz and the Teachers Gone Bad crew take the stage with a show inspired by the wild, exhausting, and hilarious side of education.
This event is also helping Nerd Academy begin its next chapter.
We recently moved into a larger building so we can serve more students, expand our programs, and continue building a school centered on literacy, STEM, creativity, and real-world learning. Before students walk through the doors, there is still plenty of work to do. Proceeds from the event will help us prepare the building for the upcoming school year, including classroom setup, materials, equipment, repairs, and other essential startup costs.
