Nepal Flood Relief Fundraiser: Quiz Night
About this Event
On August 26, a glacier collapsed along the Nepal-China border, causing a huge landslide and series of flash floods that have killed over 1000 people so far. Thousands more are missing, and the Nepalese government has estimated that as many as 90,000 people have been affected by the disaster.
Feminist Fiction Berlin stands in solidarity with the people of Nepal and all those affected. We recognise that global warming impacts those who are least responsible for the environmental destruction of our planet the most, and we want to do our small part to support the massive rescue and relief operations currently underway.
That's where you come in.
We are hosting a literary-themed quiz night where all ticket sales and cash donations will go to the Nepal Red Cross Society. So gather your friends and team up - or come solo and form one on the night - to test your literary brain! Don't worry - we'll throw in a general knowlegde round (or two)!
