About the teachers:
Felipa and Sanmit are local Bay Area Instructors and World Champion country dancers, winning Division II in 2024 at the UCWDC World Championships.
Sanmit is a 3x World Champion dancer in amateur and professional couples divisions. He is an ACDA Superstar country dancer and an advanced West Coast Swing dancer. He brings 10 years of dance training and loves to focus on technique.
Felipa is a UCWDC Superstar Line Dancer, Masters Dancer, and an All Star in West Coast Swing. She is a 7x UCWDC World Champion dancer in Line Dance and Couples divisions. In 2024 she featured in two country music videos, “I Won’t Give Up” by Randy Rogers Band, and “Wallflower” by Silverada. In 2025, Felipa joined the Word in Motion dance team to perform as a line dancer at Stagecoach Country Music Festival. As part of the team, she danced for Chromeo on Diplo’s Honkytonk Stage.
Felipa and Sanmit love building up the country dance community in the Bay Area through teaching and sharing their love of dance. They are excited to host Neon Nights to continue to grow country dance in South Bay!
