Experience the magic of art after dark at the Neon Glow Art Jamming Party @ CHIJMES Mini Lawn, a special collaboration between Visual Arts Centre and CHIJMES for the Singapore Night Festival. Set beneath the open sky, this immersive glow-in-the-dark art activation transforms the lawn into a vibrant creative playground over two exciting weekends.
Relax in a picnic-inspired setting, seated on comfortable cushions beneath festoon lights and the illuminated heritage façade of CHIJMES, as you create your own glowing artwork using vivid neon colours. Blending art, light, and atmosphere, the experience offers a welcoming space to slow down, unwind, and enjoy a memorable evening of creative expression in the open air.
Designed to be family-friendly and suitable for children aged 8 and above, the experience encourages creativity, self-expression, and shared moments through art. Whether painting together as a family, spending quality time with friends, or discovering the joy of making art for the first time, participants will take home a unique fluorescent artwork and lasting memories from this colourful outdoor experience.
Available every Thursday and Friday from 7pm to 10pm, each one-hour session offers an accessible introduction to neon painting in a relaxed festival setting, making it an ideal creative activity for families, children, and anyone looking to experience art in a fun and immersive way.

- all art materials including aprons, paint brushes, acrylic paints, neon acrylic paints
- this is a one hour art jamming activity suitable for beginners, ages 8 years old and above
