We can all come together and help keep Nelsonville beautiful!
Join us on Sunday, November 8, 2026, at 10:00 AM for a community trash pickup along the Nelsonville portion of the Hockhocking Adena Bikeway (a.k.a. Nelsonville Bike Path).
Our bike path is a wonderful part of our community, enjoyed by walkers, runners, cyclists, and families. While it generally stays fairly clean, there is always an opportunity to pick up some litter and make it even nicer for everyone.
📍 Meeting Location: We will meet up at the beginning of the Nelsonville Bike Path, next to Rocky.
📅 Date: Sunday, November 8, 2026
⏰ Time: 10:00 AM
🧤 What to bring:
* Work gloves, if you have them
* Comfortable walking shoes
* Weather-appropriate clothing
* A willingness to lend a hand!
Trash bags will be provided! We anticipate needing only one or two bags for the entire walk, so this should be a relatively simple and enjoyable cleanup.
Whether you want to help pick up litter or just enjoy a walk with fellow community members while lending a hand, everyone is welcome!
This is a volunteer community effort, and no special organization or membership is required.
Please share this event and invite your friends, family, and neighbors. Even small efforts can make a positive difference in keeping Nelsonville a place we’re proud to call home.
