For nearly a decade I have been a Certified Oral Storyteller. I enjoy stories and get great joy out of sharing them. It sometimes amazes me where I find myself sharing stories associated with the Buffalo Soldiers and my great grandfather Pvt. Isaac Johnson, an original Buffalo Soldier from 1867.
The lineup of my presentations is showing favor again as we move into Juneteenth and America 250. This Saturday, June 13th, I will appear at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art for the eighth consecutive year. This year I will preform 12:30-1:00 and again at 1:30-2:00 pm in Gallery 220.
