We’re delighted to announce that tickets for our Summer Luncheon are now on sale!As ever, we’re committed to delivering a truly enjoyable and memorable afternoon—but like many others, we’re having to be a little more mindful of rising costs.
One of our key objectives going forward is to champion local talent and figureheads from our North East business community, and we’re thrilled to be doing just that at this year’s event.
With this in mind, and in response to the valuable feedback from last year’s questionnaire, we’ve made some thoughtful changes to the event format—without compromising on fun, flair, or sparkle!
This year, we’re delighted to welcome the hugely talented Steve Walls as our host. North East born and bred, Steve is a well-known face on TV and Sky, he is a multi-talented presenter, compere, comedian, and vocalist, whose infectious humour, quick wit, and vibrant stage presence have made him one of the UK’s most in-demand live hosts—and we know he’ll keep us laughing and entertained all afternoon.
Joining us as our guest speaker is none other than local businesswoman and baking sensation, The Blondie Baker—aka Amy Dalby. Many of you will know Amy for her wildly popular bakes, bold branding, and infectious energy. She’s carved out an incredible niche in the local food scene and is a fantastic example of the kind of entrepreneurial spirit we’re proud to support. Amy will be sharing her story with us—no doubt sprinkled with humour, warmth, and plenty of inspiration.
Join us on Wednesday 24th September 2025 at the luxurious Hardwick Hall Hotel, where we’ll gather in their stunning Grand Marquee for an unforgettable afternoon.

All proceeds from the luncheon go to North East Ladies Day (NELD), who will distribute funds to support local North East charities and community organisations
