Neighborhood Walk: Lewis Mountain

What: Every 2nd Sunday of the month we will lead a walk through one of Charlottesville’s neighborhoods.
This month we will meet at UVA's Facilities Management bike rack on Leake Drive and explore the Lewis Mountain Neighborhood. This walk will be roughly 3.5 miles on even terrain but there will be an opportunity to explore some fun connections and traffic calming projects.
We are also going to explore some areas that need better pedestrian improvements, including sidewalks and crosswalks. This is an opportunity for all of us to get to know our city better, learn from our neighbors and see where there are places to build a better, more connected community.
When: Sunday, July 12th at 10AM
Where: UVA Facilities Management - 1450 Leake Dr
