Kumihimo is an ancient Japanese braiding technique that translates to "gathered threads." Weave on a cardboard disk, instantly creating beautiful, intricate-looking bracelets.
Las Arañas was formed in 1971 by a group of spinners and weavers in the Albuquerque area. Its goal is to provide education and learning opportunities for its members and to increase the awareness of and appreciation for fiber arts throughout New Mexico and beyond!
