Neighbor Day is New London’s Official City Holiday, enacted by Ordinance in 2012.Celebrated each May on the Sunday before Memorial Day, Neighbor Day is centered on the theme of “Love Thy Neighbor” and promotes peace and nonviolence.
This year’s event will include plein air painting by artists of all ages, as well as pizza in the Riverside Park amphitheater. Come use the basketball court and Emilie’s Shady Spot playscape. The park’s grills will be fired up, and attendees are encouraged to bring something to share.
