Our Neighbor-to-Neighbor group will meet for our next Community Connections event on Tuesday, 2/25 to collect snack donations and assemble School Snack Packs to deliver to WayPoint Resources. We will also write welcome letters to newly registered voters and have a kid-friendly craft to spread joy in our community.
When: Tuesday, 2/25 from 2:00 - 5:30pm
2:00 - 4:00pm: Collect snack donations and write welcome letters to newly registered voters.
4:00 - 5:30pm: Assemble Snack Packs and participate in a craft to share kindness in our community. This portion of the afternoon is planned for the 'after school' crowd and is great for bringing your children!
Where: Coal Miner Meeting Room at the Waukee Public Library
The WayPoint Resources School Snack Pack program provides children with food to take home over the weekend. The snack packs are filled with child-friendly, easy-to-prepare food and discreetly distributed to students in Dallas County.
