Negotiate Like A Pro: Tools & Tactics to Earn Higher Salaries

Closing the Gap is a free, four-part, live series from Bolder Way Forward’s Gender Pay Gap Spoke. If you want better pay for yourself, more equitable pay across your workplace, or you aim to be a fair, effective leader, this series is for you. We’ll start with the basics—what Utah’s gender pay gap is (the difference in average earnings between women and men) and why it persists—then build to clear, repeatable salary-negotiation tactics you can use right away.

All genders, managers, HR partners, and allies are welcome. Sessions are Mondays (except for Tuesday, January 20th due to the MLK holiday) at 11:30 AM (lunch and networking) with the presentation beginning at 12 PM. Seats are limited so reserve yours TODAY! These presentations build off one another so we recommend taking all four.

To make lunchtime easy and uninterrupted during the Bolder Way Forward: Gender Pay Gap Training, we’ll be offering a convenient group ordering option. Here’s how it will work:

• Group food ordering opens January 21st
• The group order links will be shared via Eventbrite, and an email will be **sent directly to registered attendees. **
• Attendees can order and pay for their own meal in advance through the DoorDash portal.
• Meals will be ready for pickup upon arrival, allowing you to enjoy lunch without missing any of the session.

📌 Important: Group order links will close at 8:00 AM on January 26 (the day of the event), so please be sure to place and pay for your order ahead of time.
