This is for folks working on their NEB Level 1 Certification or anyone interested in getting in a formal class and improving their forging skills.This class is to learn how to forge a leaf key ring and will be taught by Sam Perakis. NEB Level 1 skills you'll learn: Fuller neck, fuller width, round taper, scroll round eye. Special tools to bring if you have them: spring fuller! cross- and ball-peen hammers, hot cut, wolf jaw tongs.
Bring what tools you have. We have some at the forge, but bring it if you have it!
Basic Kit: eye & ear protection, forging hammer, wire brush, measuring stick & chalk, center punch, and notebook & pencil.
