Join us for the annual North Dakota State Fair Run the Route 5K on July 18th and kick off the day with a fun run along the parade route! Registration
Registration will be open online until 08:00am on 7/18/2026.
Race Day registration is available the morning of the event at the Our Redeemers packet pickup location (see below)
Packet Pick Up
Friday, July 17th – Roosevelt Park Zoo from 4:30pm - 7:00pm
Saturday, July 18th – Our Redeemers from 7:30am - 8:30am
Entry Fee
Ages 13 and up - $25 through June 30th, $30 in July, $35.00 July 17/18th
Children 8-12 - $15 through June 30th, $20 in July
Children 7 and under - Free
Starting Time & Locations
Start Time: 8:45am 7/18/2026
Start Location: Our Redeemers Church (South Hill Sports Complex)
Finish Line: Burdick Expy at the State Fair Gate E Entrance
Parking: Parking will be available at the Our Redeemers Church parking lot.
*** All participants will be responsible for own transportation to starting lines and from finish.
Additional Information
Run the Route T-shirts will be given to those that register before July 4th.
All runners receive an admission ticket to the State Fair on completion of the 5K.
Concert tickets and trophies will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place male and female finishers.
Small awards will also be given to the top male and female in the following categories: Under 12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+
A portion of the proceeds from this event will be donated to children's running groups/programs in our community (BIOGirls, Strides for Sunnyside, etc.)
