Revisit Maju Forest, before the redevelopment starts! Depending on the situation that day, we may use the familiar old Jurong Railway or the more adventurous former Lorong Gaung in.
The new Brookvale Drive and the mega huge Ki Residence are newly constructed. Now the remaining Maju Forest is set to be redeveloped into new HDB residential areas soon.
Along the way, we will have a quick visit of Dover Forest, of which about 2/3 has been cleared and now has tall HDB buildings - construction still in progress.
Please sign and support the petitions calling for better urban planning that considers our remaining forests. Once these habitats are cleared, they cannot be brought back. Sadly, many Singaporeans only come to appreciate these natural spaces during another Covid-like crisis, or when climate extremes hit us harder.
