All aboard for a fantastic day out at the QLD Rail Museum!
This Mobility Accessible Social Day is designed for participants of all fitness levels and is wheelchair accessible. We'll take our time exploring the museum, checking out the trains and displays and enjoying a relaxed day in the community with others.
It's a great opportunity to get out, explore something different, socialise and enjoy a fun day in a supportive group environment.
NDIS Costs
The NDIS support rate is $73.58 per hour.
The activity runs for 4 hours, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with an additional 1 hour of non-face-to-face administration time.
Example: 4-hour activity + 1 hour admin = 5 hours total billed time ÷ number of participants.
Total billable time: 5 hours
5 hours × $73.58 = $367.90 total
Based on the minimum group size of 3 participants:
$367.90 ÷ 3 = approximately $122.63 per person
Minimum group size: 3 participants
Maximum group size: 10 participants
Please note that 1:1 support is billed separately where required.
Out-of-Pocket Costs
The QLD Rail Museum entry fee is TBA and will be an additional out-of-pocket cost.
Participants should also bring money to purchase lunch and drinks if they do not wish to BYO lunch.
Alternatively, participants are welcome to BYO lunch and drinks.
All NDIS support costs will be invoiced separately.
Who Can Join
This activity is suitable for NDIS participants of all fitness levels who enjoy getting out into the community, exploring interesting places and spending time with others.
The activity is mobility accessible and wheelchair accessible, making it suitable for participants who use wheelchairs or other mobility equipment.
