Join us for an action-packed day exploring Brisbane! We'll enjoy a walk along the Southbank River, travel on the City Cat and stop at a café for lunch.

- Comfortable clothing and suitable walking shoes

Our Active Adventure Days are perfect for participants who enjoy being active and are comfortable walking on uneven surfaces, taking part in faster-paced walks and managing longer distances.
This outing gives participants the chance to explore Southbank, enjoy the river views, experience a City Cat ride and socialise with the group over lunch at a local café.
It's a great opportunity to get out into the community, stay active, build confidence and enjoy a fun day exploring Brisbane.
NDIS Costs
NDIS Support Rate: $73.58 per hour
Activity duration: 5 hours
Plus: 1 hour non-face-to-face administration
Total billable hours: 6 hours
Billing is shared across participants.
Minimum group size: 3 participants
Maximum group size: 8 participants
Approximate NDIS cost per participant at the minimum group size: $147.16
Calculation:
6 billable hours × $73.58 = $441.48 total
$441.48 ÷ 3 participants = approximately $147.16 per participant
Please note: 1:1 support, where required, is billed separately in accordance with the participant's NDIS plan.
NDIS costs will be billed to the supplier in accordance with the participant's service agreement and funding arrangements.
Out-of-Pocket Costs
Participants will need to bring their own money for:
- City Cat fare
- Café lunch
- Any additional personal purchases
These costs are not included in the NDIS support cost.
Participants should ensure they bring enough money to cover their City Cat fare and lunch.
Who Can Join?
This activity is designed for NDIS participants aged 16+ who enjoy being active, getting out into the community and exploring new places.
Participants should be comfortable with:
- Faster-paced walking
- Longer periods of walking and activity
- Walking around a busy city environment
- Getting on and off public transport
- Spending time outdoors
Minimum: 3 participants
Maximum: 8 participants
