About this Event

Breaking Barriers: Hayden's Story

Join the Workplace Disability Network (WDN) and Black Hills Special Services Cooperative (BHSSC) for Breaking Barriers: Hayden's Story, an interactive, hands-on workplace learning experience offered in recognition of National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM).

Through Hayden's experiences, participants will explore the workplace barriers employees with disabilities may encounter and examine how communication, workplace systems, and employer decisions can affect an employee's ability to succeed and remain employed.

Working together through scenario-based activities and guided discussion, participants will identify barriers, consider practical solutions, and leave with ideas they can apply within their own organizations.

This session is being offered as part of the RehabACTion Fall Conference.
