Session description: Recently retired senior cybersecurity leader Peter H. Gregory explores the concept of due care in cybersecurity. In this session, Gregory explains the various activities that are considered essential for modern organizations. Why this matters: sooner or later, organizations are breached, which sometimes leads to legal proceedings. If a breach investigation identifies gaps in an organization’s security practices, the organization could be deemed negligent, a potentially costly turn of events.
