NCPA International Jazz Festival Day 3

Brian Bromberg: The chameleonic Brian Bromberg has never been one to follow the expected path. Longtime Bromberg fans have become familiar with the versatile bassist’s whiplash shifts in style and approach from one project to the next over the course of his four-decade career. His recordings span big band swing and smooth jazz, Latin rhythms and tender balladry, raucous funk and blistering rock. He has received one Grammy nomination for Best Contemporary Jazz Album for his album "Downright".

Tom Zink: Grammy-nominated arranger Tom Zink is a talented musician specialising in contemporary and traditional jazz. Tom has done considerable orchestral arranging, specialising in strings, and is a pianist fluent in many styles of music, including Brazilian jazz.

Charles Ruggiero: Drums Charles Ruggiero was born to be a drummer. He started in the band Slunt, which toured with Marilyn Manson and played with Ozzy for the Ozzyfest tour. He then went back to his Jazz roots and started his "solo" career with the release of "Drummer. It hit #25 on the Jazz charts and continues to receive acclaim and airplay. He’s been touring and recording extensively with Charles, recording new records with Arturo Sandoval, Brian Bromberg, Bob Reynolds, and Tony Guerrero.

Lin Rountree, also known as The Soul-Trumpeter, is a force to be reckoned with in the music industry. As an accomplished recording artist, producer, and live performer, he has left an indelible mark on the world of music.

Doug Webb is an American jazz saxophonist. Webb has played and recorded with Horace Silver, Freddie Hubbard, Stanley Clarke, Mat Marucci, Kyle Eastwood, Billy Childs, Rod Stewart, Carly Simon, Art Davis and Jon Gibson. He has recorded music for hundreds of movies and television programs, including playing for the Family Guy orchestra. He solos on the soundtrack for Million Dollar Baby and Gran Torino.
