NC Brown Girls Climb Outdoor Day

Join us for an Outdoor Climbing Day on November 22nd, 2025! We’ve hired professional climbing guides to lead a small group of us on an exciting adventure at Looking Glass Rock in Brevard, NC. This event is free, but we’re asking for a refundable $10 deposit to reserve your spot. All climbing gear will be provided, though you’re welcome to bring your own if you prefer. No climbing experience is necessary, just come ready for a fun day outdoors!

What to bring:

• Comfortable, flexible clothes — non-restrictive for climbing (avoid jeans).
• Weather-appropriate layers — e.g. a light jacket, fleece, or windbreaker.
• Rain jacket (if there’s any chance of rain).
• Approach shoes or sturdy sneakers for hiking to the crag.
• Plenty of water — at least 2–3 liters per person.
• Snacks for energy — e.g. trail mix, fruit, bars, nuts.
• Lunch - we will be out all day.
• Small backpack (20–30L) to carry your stuff.
