nbs is an alternative/indie rock band from Washington, DC. Originally the solo project of songwriter Nolen Stevens, the project has quickly expanded into a full rock outfit featuring Collin Lally on guitar, Jason Gerber on bass, and Ryan Fitzgerald on drums. Their new EP, Swan Songs, marks a darker, heavier shift from the lighthearted pop-rock tunes of their debut album, Kite, while still retaining the catchy hooks, powerful lyrics, and fun energy that the band has become known for.

Birdcage

Birdcage is a dynamic five-piece indie rock/pop band hailing from Washington, D.C. Formed in 2024, the band has a unique sound they call “feathercore,” incorporating elements of alternative rock and pop with a soft indie feel. The band features Ariel “Canary” Frisch on vocals, Corie “Seagull” O’Connell on guitar, Owen “Pigeon” Schafer on bass, Jack “Duck” Nerney on drums, and Noah “Owl” Schneider on keys.
