NEW For 2026! NBPT Cornhole and Newburyport Yankee Homecoming team up for our first ever BrewFest Cornhole Classic on Saturday 7/25. This year, our competitive cornhole tournament will take place on-site at the Yankee Homecoming BrewFest, on the softball field at Cashman Park. This event is held as a fundraiser for Newburyport Yankee Homecoming.
VIP Golden Tickets for this combination event will be on sale through NBPT Cornhole on May 1st for just $50/each and will include:
* Entry for 1 to the Newburyport Yankee Homecoming Brewfest.
* Limited Drink Samples from the 20+ Breweries on Site.
* Entry for 1 into NBPT Cornhole's Competitive Cornhole Tournament
While this event has been a BYOP event in the past, this year we will be using our Switcholio format. Players will each play 4 round robin games with randomly matched partners. At the conclusion of round robin play, players will be sorted by record and matched up with another player for a double elimination tournament. Cash prizes will be awarded to at least the top 3 teams.
Admission to this event will be limited to 64 spots. You MUST be 21+ with a valid ID to play. Children or pets are not allowed. Absolutely no outside food or drinks are allowed into the festival under any circumstances. Once entering the festival, participants will not be able to exit and re-enter. Please make sure to bring your bags, etc into the gate the first time. There will be a good amount of traffic downtown during Yankee Homecoming, and parking is somewhat limited. Please allow yourself plenty of time to park! The tournament will begin promptly at 4PM.
