NBAF Presents: BLACK SOUND featuring JAMAL AHMAD

Join NBAF for Black Sound, a humanities and music series examining the influence of Black music as a force for cultural memory, creativity, and innovation. Through live performances and dialogue with artists and cultural thinkers, each Black Sound experience explores musical traditions from spirituals and blues to jazz, hip hop, gospel, rock, house, and beyond, revealing how Black music shapes culture.
The series launches with WCLK’s Jamal Ahmad, host of Sounds of Universal Love. He’ll share music, discuss the origins of S.O.U.L., his practice as a music connoisseur of global sounds and more.
