🌊 HELP PROTECT OUR COASTLINE! NAVY DELTA BEACH CLEANUP 🌿
Here's a unique opportunity to make a difference for San Diego Bay and some of our most vulnerable coastal wildlife!
Join the Navy on Saturday, November 7, from 10 AM to noon, for a special cleanup at Delta Beach, located along the bayside of Silver Strand, just south of the Naval Amphibious Base.
🐦 Why is this cleanup so important?
Delta Beach is designated critical habitat for the threatened western snowy plover and endangered California least tern. Normally closed to human activity to protect these sensitive species, the beach will be accessible to volunteers for this special cleanup.
By removing trash and debris, volunteers will help:
🌿 Protect important nesting and feeding habitats for vulnerable shorebirds.
🌊 Keep litter and plastics out of San Diego Bay, where they can harm fish, birds, and other marine life.
💚 Preserve the natural beauty and ecological health of our coastline.
CLEANUP DETAILS
📅 Saturday, November 7

Every piece of trash removed makes a difference. Thank you to the Navy for providing this special opportunity to care for our coastal environment!
