Do you have a disabled child, a neurodivergent child, or a child with a health impairment? Learn more about what supports are available and how to access them.

Learning about the various disability support services can be overwhelming for many parents and caregivers. This workshop will explore the supports available in your region and give participants the opportunity to hear from people working within the disability support sector.

Topic 1: Understanding disability supports and services available in your community

Topic 2: Funding options and financial assistance for disabled people and their whānau

Topic 3: Navigating the disability support system and knowing where to go for help

Participants will gain an overview of what disability support can look like, what services are available locally, and how to access and engage with the supports your family may need.

Hot drinks and a beautiful lunch will be provided.

This workshop is free thanks to funding from Wellington City Council.
