Learn more about what supports are available and how to access them.Learning about the various disability support services can be overwhelming for many parents and caregivers. This workshop explores what supports are available in your region, and gives participants the opportunity to hear from professionals who work in the sector. Learn more about:
• Topic 1: Individualised Funding and how it increases your choice and control of who provides support and how and when you use it
• Topic 2: Preparing for a needs assessment and reviews/reassessments
Sue Gibson, Whaiātea from Access Community Health and Rebecca Honeybone, Regional Coordinator - Greater Canterbury from Parent to Parent are facilitating this event. Lunch will be provided.
