About this Event
Oregon’s leave laws are complex and have seen major updates in recent years. Whether you’re new to managing family and medical leave or simply trying to stay current with the latest changes, this training will help you navigate Paid Leave Oregon (PLO), the Oregon Family Leave Act (OFLA), and the federal Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA).
You’ll learn about:

Confident, knowledgeable and approachable, Caitlin knows how to put clients at ease, even in the most difficult situations. She focuses on the foundations of HR management along with some of the most common compliance issues. Caitlin is an expert on employee handbooks, job descriptions, discipline, documentation, investigations, training and much more.
With a BA in Political Science from the University of Washington, Caitlin earned her J.D. from Lewis & Clark Law School and is a member of the Oregon State Bar. When in college, she spent hundreds of hours interning for a variety of nonprofits. When not at work you can find Caitlin hiking, enjoying the coast or exploring Portland.
