About this Event

Join NYPL Career Services for an interactive, hands-on workshop designed to help you navigate tough conversations in the workplace.

In this session, you will be coached through three common professional hurdles:

  • The Undervalued Employee: Learn how to advocate for yourself and gain the recognition you deserve when your hard work is going unnoticed.
  • Career Change Dilemma: Discover how to pivot industries and articulate your transferable skills when you aren't sure where to start.
  • Salary Negotiation: Practice the specific language and tactics needed to negotiate your compensation with confidence, whether you're a new hire or up for a promotion.

Whether you choose to participate in a scenario or observe the coaching techniques, you will leave with practical tools to handle your next big career move.

Led by mentor and advisor Jeffrey Liss, this session will offer strategies for resilience and positive progress toward your career goals.

Registration is required, and space is limited. Sign up today to secure your spot!
