About this Event

Join New Yorkers for Parks and the Play Fair for Parks Coalition on the steps of City Hall at 10:30 am on Monday, March 23 to rally for a fully funded parks system. Following the rally advocates will testify at the NYC Parks preliminary budget hearing, which begins at 11:30 am at 250 Broadway, 8th Floor, Hearing Room 2.

We're demanding budget restorations to bring NYC Parks back to baseline: clean parks and working restrooms, faster park repairs, more and better-maintained trees, well-maintained lawns and playing fields, and extended recreastion center hours and programming.

If you're a member of the Play Fair Coalition, you should have received a calendar invite for our monthly Play Fair meeting, which will be on March 10 this month. At that meeting, we'll prepare for the hearing as well as how to testify. Email us at [email protected] with any questions!
