The Maritime Heritage Centre is offering a series of “Nautical Nights” where speakers will share the unique perspectives and experiences that have strengthened their connection with the sea.On Thursday October 24 at 7pm at the Maritime Heritage Centre experienced divers Ruedi Pletscher and Sheldon Boyd will present the what where and why of scuba diving. Hear about what has drawn them to the sport, and about some of the incredible experiences they have had. They will bring equipment and photographs and are able to answer questions. There will also be the opportunity to see diving artifacts from the museum’s collection.
This talk is by donation, with a suggested $8 donation to cover event costs.
